Office of the President: Gatluak Kuenywar
My fellow Lou Nuer,
In the name of our lord, I come to you this evening with heart feel with grieving, sadness, and madness all causes by the bad news we all heard happened home in Lou Nuer land. As people who live in South Sudan like all Southern Sudanese we all yearn for peace and meaningful way of life where we all can co exist and live in harmony with our neighbors, however in fast three years our people had been subjected by the government of Southern Sudan and our neighbors to live in a desperate condition where massacres against our people became a consistent conspiracy act aiming to extinct our community.
I as the president of this community had been put into corner by inaction of our government back home and forced to deviate from deep believe that governments exists for the purpose of protection their citizens from harm being afflicted to them by others or even by one`s self. We must not standby and watch all these ill fate conspiracies being orchestrated against our people. That peace in South Sudan can only work if all citizens enjoyed it, however its self evident that our people have not seen the fruits of it, therefore we in office or myself purposed that we arrange a tripe to South Sudan so that we can try to meet with the government of Southern Sudan and understand their position, and why it should be consider as a government for the people, by the people and of the people by our community. This will be on voluntary basis where by one will be responsible of purchasing his/her ticket provides that we realize how important this is.
Many people have lost their lives for Southern Sudan cause specially our people, therefore we must act with impunity in making sure our people can be defend at all causes, and we cannot allow any one to use them as simple tools. I personally believe that we have more power than we realize, perhaps if we use that power for the good of our people we can achieve a bigger goals. I am soliciting your ideas and opinions, therefore make sure you take this seriously and give us best of your inner thoughts.
May God bless our people and bless us all,
Gatluak Kuenywar
