Latest Information about Akobo today

I talked to three people in Akobo just a while a go.

Two people said, the death told is claiming 400 and above, and told me that a good number may be estimated in two to three days. It is very sad indeed.

The 3rd informant gave the estimate for the deceased in Wech Luak, Olam and Peek Cie-Kuoth Both as 177 people confirmed dead, but the number is still growing. The deceased at Burkamal, Chiban, Chikol, Kony, Obor, and Wit are still unestimated, and all these places were burnt to ash not a single hut left stand.

The informant also confirmed that no one followed the Murle attackers and no one knows where they are about, and added that they may attack another place soon or later no one knows.

That is what is going on now.

Could you guys stop posting unconfirmed figure of death report and wait until the final one is announced. It doesn't sound pleasing to keep putting some conflicting figure while we are sadened by the barbaric incident which seems to be enjoyed by heartless arogant elements in what so called GoSS.
